Description: My inspiration for this artwork is one of my favorite shows that I can relate to and my culture. The show that inspired me to make this was My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I had chosen the character Princess Luna and made her into a sugar skull. The reason I chose her is due to her backstory/lore, she was trapped in her mind and found her way out through friendship. I feel like I can relate to her because I also felt lost when I couldn’t find friendship and once she found that friendship she reformed into her true self. The reason I chose to include my culture is because I was able to open up to my culture more while I was still finding myself and helped me become who I am today.
